OOTD: 60s Shift.

It was my best friend’s birthday over the last weekend but we haven’t gotten a chance to go out for dinner until today [our favourite restaurant is Giraffe]. Figured I should make an effort and I managed to pick up a bargain in the process.

Outfit of the Day: 26th September 2014.

60s Floral Shift dress with a Peter Pan collar, £5 [in the sale], Navy shoe boots, £15, both from Primark.

A slightly better view of the boots.

The nice wedge makes these so so comfortable. Navy isn’t a colour I would normally go for in a shoe but my winter coat is this colour so I figured, why not? I’m probably going to go back and get them in the other colours (black/camel) because of how comfy they are.

What are your favourite 60s inspired pieces?

      Thank you!! ❤ xx

Those boots were so comfy. I didn't get one blister walking around all day, not even walking up the hill to get home. Definitely going back to buy the other pairs now.

I love miniskirts in winter with thick tights and my lace up Victorian style brown boots. I've also seen that shirts are going to be big for A/W so I might get 'school' inspired and match a mini with a nice floral shirt. How would you style a mini? xx
